It features significantly increased ground clearance, a hydraulic front-lift system, and specially developed all-terrain tires as standard equipment. Its design, which includes features from the 911 GT3 and the 1984 Paris-Dakar-winning rally car, along with enhanced cooling and stiffened engine mounts, allows it to handle rugged terrain while maintaining high-performance driving capabilities......., 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine from the 911 Carrera 4 GTS and adds enhancements for off-road durability, like an upgraded air filter from the 911 Turbo, and includes an eight-speed PDK with a new ''Rallye'' mode and launch control. This setup provides 473 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque...The engine features a unique air filter housing with an enhanced air filter from the 911 Turbo to handle dustier off-road conditions.An eight-speed PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplung) is standard, distributing power to all four wheels.., DAKAR includes a new ''Rallye'' mode and a launch control feature optimized for quick starts on loose surfaces + standard sports exhaust system creates a rich sound, and the engine has been tuned to produce more backfire and burbles on deceleration + Air intakes and cooling systems have been modified for off-road use........
