Roadside Assistance Service
This service protects every owner for the full four years of a New Car Limited Warranty or the full two years if you have a Porsche Approved Certified-Preowned Limited Warranty. Calling its toll-free number connects you to dedicated personnel available to assist you if you have any problems on the road.
The program is free, but some services do entail costs, for example, charges for replenishing fuel if you run out of gas on the road. Expert technicians will be dispatched to your location and can provide a range of invaluable services to get you back on the road again in no time. These services include:
Lock-out Service
Many drivers have locked themselves out of their vehicles at one time or another, but they didn’t have expert assistance available. Technicians will quickly open your door so you can retrieve your key.
Lost or Stolen Key
If your key fob has been lost or stolen, technicians will help get you back in your car. You’ll need a new key, which is available from any Porsche center. You can also protect yourself against the cost of replacement keys with Key Protection available through your Porsche center. There’s no deductible, and it covers up to $1,000.00 for key or fob replacement.
Jump-Start
It’s not pleasant being stranded on the side of the road waiting for a tow. Technicians can jump-start your car and advise on your battery status. If your battery fails to start, they can tow your Porsche to the nearest Porsche center, which can provide a new battery.
Flat Tire
If you have a flat, there are several ways technicians can assist you. Depending on your Porsche model, you may have a spare tire or a can of tire sealant. If you have a spare they will fit It for you or reinflate your tire with the sealant. If you don’t have either, and the flat occurs 100 miles or more from home, they assist by towing you to the nearest preferred tire installer.
Warranty Towing
If your Porsche is disabled due to a warranty issue, the technicians will tow you to the nearest Porsche center or your choice of Porsche center within 50 miles. This tow is provided at no charge.
